Rain, rumbles of thunder continue into tonight in parts of Maryland
Today's First Alert Weather Day has come to an end, however a damp and rumbly evening is still in the forecast.
Scattered rain and thunder will continue through 11 p.m., before diminishing overnight. Temperatures have cooled into the 60s where rain has fallen and will settle back into the 50s across the Baltimore metro by sunrise. Areas of fog may develop overnight. Patchy dense fog is possible.
Roller coaster temperatures across Maryland
Behind Wednesday evening storms, much cooler air will settle into parts of Maryland.
Northeast Maryland will be coolest through Thursday afternoon. A few spots may settle into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Plan on mid to upper 50s for a large portion of the day in Baltimore and the lower eastern shore. Temperatures will be much warmer closer to the Potomac River. Thursday will be a cloudier day.
Temperatures warm back up Friday, into the start of the holiday weekend. A few showers are possible Thursday through Saturday.
Rainy weather on Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is tagged as a possible First Alert Weather Day. Another cold front pushes through with widespread rain and a few storms. The chance of wet weather appears to peak between mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Timing may shift as Sunday gets closer. Outdoor Easter plans may be impacted. Check back in with the First Alert Weather team.
Another cooldown is expected early next week along with quieter weather.
