Rollover crash in Morton Grove results in 2 hurt, person arrested

CHICAGO (CBS) – Part of a busy stretch of Waukegan Road in Morton Grove was closed off Friday afternoon due to a rollover crash.

Police responded to the crash between a blue 2004 Mercury and a black 2020 Subaru.

The driver of the Mercury left the scene on foot and was later arrested.

The occupants of the Subaru were taken to Lutheran General Hospital where a female occupant was in critical condition.

Several hard barricades and cones closed off the intersection of Waukegan Road and Beckwith Road.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Morton Grove police at 847-470-5200.
