Highs will get near 90 degrees on Friday in the Twin Cities, with warm overnight lows near 70.

Saturday will still be sunny and blustery, with wind gusts between 35 and 45 mph. Brush fire risk is elevated all weekend due to the winds and lack of recent rain.

It will be even gustier early Sunday ahead of a temperature drop as a front pushes through later in the day. There's a chance for rain in northwest Minnesota on Sunday morning, and in the metro during the afternoon and evening.

Monday will feature seasonable highs and a slight chance of showers, mainly south of the metro.

The first frost or light freeze of the season is possible in northern areas on Tuesday night under clear skies.

High temperatures will be in the 60s next week, with low temps in the 40s. There's a potential for a few showers late in the week.
