The two caregivers of a disabled Northern California teenager who starved to death in 2025 were arrested in Washington state, authorities announced.
Deputies are investigating after multiple people were shot at a park in the Arden-Arcade area on Saturday evening, officials said.
The shooting happened in the area of Pixie Drive and Doray Court, around 10:15 p.m.
Around 1:45 a.m., Hayward police were called to Clawiter and Depot roads for a report of a sideshow involving around 60 vehicles. While on the way, police said they were told that one driver had crashed into a semitruck.
The number 1, 2 and 5 lanes of eastbound Interstate 80, at Treasure Island, were temporarily closed due to a crash on Wednesday.
